Dr. Rod Schoonover is head of the ecological security program at the Council on Strategic Risks and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. He served previously as Director of Environmental and Natural Resources at the National Intelligence Council, and as an environmental analyst in the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research.

Dr. Crews received his PhD from Princeton, has won the Dean’s Award for Distinguished Teaching, and served as director of Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies, and Director of the Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies. He currently teaches a course on “The Global Drug Wars.”
