One-Room Sunday School
Sunday School is held every Sunday from 10-10:30 a.m. before worship. All kids ages 3-11 are welcome to join our one-room Sunday School upstairs in the Rainbow Room with Pastor G. Through games, music, crafts and Bible stories, we teach children how God’s love and the lessons Jesus taught work in their lives. We use Cokesbury’s Big Faith all-ages curriculum.
Children in Worship
We welcome children in Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. Pastor Gerardo gives a message just for kids in the first part of the service. There are activity packets for older children, and cry rooms at the back of the sanctuary for younger ones.
Our nursery playroom, down the hall from the sanctuary, is stocked with toys and craft supplies for ages 0-6. The nursery is staffed from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Special Events
We have regular special events throughout the year, including Vacation Bible School, Trunk-and-Treat, an Easter Egg Hunt, and more. Plus, we have a drop-in dress-up Christmas Pageant every Christmas Eve–all kids are welcome!
Previous events have also included one-day tennis camps, gardening parties, making chalk murals, and art classes led by scientific illustrator Ben Conway.
