Children's Church

Calling all children! You're invited to our child-friendly, discovery-oriented, worship experience where kids can be all that makes them kids.

Children in grades K-5

Children's Church, during the 10:45 worship hour includes:

• a time of greeting and gathering in a circle of worship,
• the lighting of a candle to signal the beginning of sacred time, an opening prayer, • a song, a Scripture, a story and conversation,
• an offering and conversation about a mission project that is interesting (eg. When the mission project was Imagine No Malaria, the children were interested to be learning about the life a child in an African nation might experience.),
• a concluding prayer and if time, a snack.

Then it's back to the Sanctuary to meet their parents. This whole thing is tailored to about 25 minutes.

Kids will be invited from the 10:45 am worship service and return before the closing.

To help children into a child-friendly, discovery-oriented, worship experience where they can be all that makes them kids
